1. Our services

RentUgo develops and integrates financial solutions: alternative auto financing, mechanical warranty financing, a prepaid card, and RentUgo Payments for businesses. Many of these solutions are offered in collaboration with financial partners, lenders, issuers, or other third-party providers.

When a product is provided by a third party, its identity, role, and applicable terms are disclosed in the documentation provided before any commitment. Those terms, not this website, govern the product.

2. General information only

Website content is provided for information purposes. It is not an offer of credit, nor financial, legal, or tax advice. Rates, amounts, terms, fees, and examples are indicative and may vary based on your profile, the product, and the partner. Only the agreement you sign is binding.

3. Applications and eligibility

• You must have reached the age of majority in your province and be able to enter into a contract.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
• All applications are subject to review and approval by us or our partners. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or any particular terms.
• A credit check may be performed with your consent.

4. Third-party products

Prepaid cards are issued by a partner issuer and are subject to the cardholder agreement. Mechanical warranties are provided by third-party warranty providers under their own contracts. RentUgo Payments and partner programs are governed by a separate agreement with the business. We are not responsible for the products, services, or decisions of these third parties, except as otherwise provided by law or contract.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose;
• provide false information or impersonate another person;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, our systems, or other people’s data;
• interfere with the operation of the website (malware, automated scraping, overloading, and similar).

6. Intellectual property

The RentUgo name, logos, text, images, videos, and other website content are the property of Finance RentUgo or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Any reproduction or use without written permission is prohibited, except for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Links to other websites

The website may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Limitation of liability

We strive to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Québec’s Consumer Protection Act or any other law of public order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Subject to consumer rights, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
